RICHMOND

 A smile takes but a moment, but the memory of it lasts forever.

A couple of Sunday's ago I took my brother and Cousin down to Richmond to make the most of the last of our summer rays. Richmond is a gorgeous old convict town just out of Hobart. Its not just full of some amazing history but is  absolutely picturesque!

I hadn't been down to Richmond since my 16th Birthday {try mixing a raining day, screaming children and an awful hangover - not the best day} So it was great to find out they had opened a hire-a-boat&bike business!

We decided to pass on the bikes, but the idea of spending the afternoon rowing up the river sounded sooo perfect! That was until we got tangled in the reeds, hit the bottom of the river going under the bridge and almost got tipped out while swapping seats! It was a hilarious experience, I think we spent more time laughing than actually rowing!

 Richmond is full of amazing brick house's that one would only hope to live in. It was originally a convict town and you can still visit the jail there, you never know - maybe one of your relatives is on their convict list like my great-great times about 15 Aunt who was sent here, for I think stealing a loaf of bread or refusing to get married. I forget the story but I'm almost glad she brought our family down here!

Who can resist giant lollipops and rows and rows of jars of lollies!
You'd be embarrassed to find out how much we spent in there !!
Home made Turkish delight anyone ??

{Gorgeous Laura and Daniel}

Family days together are so special and I'm so blessed to have such and amazing family!  What's your favourite way to spend time with your family?

If you ever find yourself in Richmond, I definitely suggest that you spend some time on the river! The man who served us was amazing and so helpful!

GA-DE cosmetics.

 GA-DE Cosmetics is a relatively unknown brand in Australia but quite popular in Israel from what I've heard!?! I came across it looking for a new matt bronzer and thought I'd give it a try. And I'm so glad that I did! Besides the packaging being so elegant the powders are so pigmented and the lipsticks stay on oh so well!

{ Gorgeous Packaging }
I'm a sucker for gold!

{ Bronzing powder in 65 Bronze Matt }
This is the perfect bronzer, not too orange so you don't look like a two year old has gone crazy with the face paint. It's got a teeny tiny bit of shimmer and you only need one stroke of the brush through the powder to get a really nice colour on your face. It's my new favourite bronzer!

{ Poudre De Soie in 6 Celestial }
I'm not a huge wearer of blush.  I have rather rosy cheeks so I really don't like to overdo it, but this blush is so subtle that it's almost like an apricoty-bronzer with a tiny bit of a pink undertone. It has a little shimmer, but who does't like to sparkle!

{ Soft stain Eyeshadow Duo in 28 Spices }
I love nudes ( In the most un-risque way possible !) My everyday eye makeup is a super subtle neutral smokey-ish with lots of glitter! This duo is perfect, so smooth on the eyes and has lots of shimmer! My only complaint is it doesn't last all day. It needs a top up halfway through the day and it's not ideal for everyone to be carrying a full set of eyeshadow brushes!

{ Idyllic 707 Passionfruit }
Wahh, I could spend all day with this lipstick! It has a spring in the bottom so just push in the gold logo at the base and your lipstick pops out. The lipstick itself is more of a really, really shimmery lip balm. It almost reminds me of a babylips but so much more luxurious.

GA-DE is a gorgeous brand, a little on the pricy side, but if you feel like spoiling yourself I would absolutely recommend this!

I purchased my GA-DE cosmetics from ozsale.com, but they do have an online store at www.gadecosmetics.com.au

Sigma Love.

I think i'm in love!
A couple of weeks ago I was searching the glorious interweb {is that a word??} looking for a new stippling brush and I stumbled across redefiningbeauty.com.au ! They sell sigma products without getting slogged with a thirty dollar shipping fee to get it to my mailbox!

{Brow Powder in Auburn}

I was a little disappointed when this arrived. The actual powder is great, but I definitely need to get it in dark. So this ones going to my sister and a dark version will be in my next shop!

 { Duo Fibre F50 }

This is a a really nice brush! Super soft and it buffs in so very well. My only worry is that after the first wash quite a few of the white bristles fell out so i'm questioning how long it will last before I need to buy a new one.

{ Paris Palette }

Whilst looking through the site I stumbled onto the limited edition Paris Palette and ohh laa laa I swooned immediately. The colour that really got me was Orsay, a gorgeous teal with gold shimmer through it. I have greenish-blueish eyes and I love to wear glittery colours like this on my lower lashline. The pigmentation in the shadows is absolutely stunning and the shimmer really shows through the colour!

The palette also comes with two brushes - a F40 contouring brush and E55 shading. Im not a fan of the shading brush but the contouring brush is lovely. It gives a very defied angle and blends really well.

Im thrilled that I found this new site and I have a newfound love for Sigma!
