Weekly Catchup // Eleventh May

It's a short and sweet weekly catchup today; one because I have an assignment due in precisely 1 hour and 46 minutes that I haven't started yet. (No need to fret, its only worth 5%) and two, I have what could only be described as the hangover from hell. It's safe to say I won't be having any G&T's for the next few months! But I didn't want to leave you post-less so I'm sucking it up and sharing my favourites from the week just gone.
Another week another sunset shot it seems. Mother nature sure has been pulling out some stunning sunsets lately and I for one am not complaining. Even though I had to turn around twice and do some bush-bashing to get the perfect shot- but it was definitely worth it! It's nights like this that always remind me to be thankful for the little things in life

Self confessed swatch-aholic over here. I can never manage to visit a makeup counter or drugstore without  walking out with a forehand covered in swatches and when I write reviews its the same story.  I wrote this post last week on a gorgeous lipstick brand called Shanghai Suzy and by the time I hit the publish button my hand was a collage of pinks, corals and reds. If you want to check out the full swatch-y post it'll be up in the next couple of days aaaand there will be a sneaky give away to go with it! So keep an eye out for that if you want to enter. :)

I couldn't help but put this gorgeous photo in this weeks favourites. It sums me up completely!  As much as winter is my favourite season its becoming increasingly common for my family to find me tucked up in bed with a big pot of chai tea as soon as I get home from uni, studying whilst also warming my toes with a hot water bottle. I think I may has just found the best study spot ever!!!

And that's my week, done and dusted! I hope yours was as enjoyable as mine was {without the whopper of a headache that is}! Also, let me know what your winter-warmer tricks are, I'm seriously considering taking up knitting just so I can make myself a pair of woollen socks ;)

Lots of love,

  2. I totally read 'forehand covered in swatches' as 'forehead covered in swatches' and the mental image was hilarious. So thank you for that.

    1. Ha! I had to go back and make sure I'd written it right :) I'd have to be getting pretty desperate to start using my forehead for swatches!!

    1. My favourite ever chai tea is an Indian Chai made by a local company in Tasmania called the Art of Tea. They hands down make the best tea's I have ever tasted :)
